We know the last thing anybody wants to do in Winter is think about gardening, however the more organised you are the better your chance of a better bloom in the warmer seasons!
We have some wonderful flower seeds in store that you can start sowing now that will be ready to plant once the risk of frost has gone.
Antirrhinum – A half hardy perennial with beautiful flouncy heads along a long stem. Perfect for bedding or tubs.
Lobelia – Beautiful trailing plant, perfect for hanging baskets or containers. Mainly in shades of white, blue and deep purple. (Annual)
Sanvitalia – Another plant perfect for a hanging basket. Beautiful green foliage filled with sunshine yellow, dainty flowers. (Annual)
Sweet Peas – Mainly annual varieties to be sown at this time of year, with a vast assortment of colours to choose from.
Penstemon – Beautiful, bright coloured dainty flowers that last well into the Autumn, and has semi-evergreen foliage in the Winter (Perennial)
Red Hot Poker – Hardy perennials that make a striking display in borders. In a variety of bright orange, red and yellow tones.
