Yes – we will be talking birds and bees on Saturday! From owls and honey bees to bats and hedgehogs, we have plenty to see, hold and discover all in aid of Lancashire Wildlife Trust. The day starts at 11.30am when the Mayor of South Ribble will open the proceedings, piped in by the City of Preston Pipe and Drums. We will be joined by Northwest Reptile Club who have a few less cuddly friends to pet and children can enjoy having their faces painted or tasting the fruit of the labours of our own Avant honey bees.
John Gilmore will be judging the artwork of children from St Bede’s and Manor Road Schools and artist Steph Matthews will be creating a wildlife painting which will be auctioned during the event.
It’s FREE to park and enter so please give us your support.
