We are loving the colour contrasts on our lovely little collection of Hebes that have freshly arrived.
Whether choosing a flowering variety or not, the satisfyingly even leaf structure and the fact they come in an array of greens, silvers and reds means Hebes create a brilliant background to plant against in the border.

Likewise, smaller more compact versions can live quite happily in a pot for some time, given plenty of feed and water.
And taller growing varieties can break up the monotony in a mixed hedge.
