You know the season has truly begun when the fragrance of Everlasting Wallflowers drifts across the Plantaria.

A popular favourite is Bowle’s Mauve with its purple flowers (even at this early time of year!), closely followed by its red, yellow and orange cousins.

Give these plenty of space in the border as they want to form a big clump. Trim the flowering tips off to allow new buds to initiate.  These will keep flowering from now until October  – as their name suggests, they will not be deterred!
